I am desperately trying to find a means to pay my rent by 12/14/07!!!

I start a job 12/3 and receive my first check on 12/21.  My landlord won't wait and will evict me 12/19.  That is also the day my oldest son, 17, is coming to visit for Christmas!!

My 13 year old son lives with me and I have been out of work for 6 weeks.  ANY IDEAS OR HELP WILL BE APPRECIATED!!!!  My dad has loaned me $ once in my life.  It was like torture to him!!  I have $300 for my $995 rent payment.  I went to Neighborhood assistance, but they give a max of $430 and I have to wait 4-5 weeks!!!

I am desperately seeking help if anyone is out there who can help - I will GLADLY pay them or the organization back even with interest.  Please let me know what organizations or people are out there that can/will help.  I'm not looking for a handout, just a short-term loan until the end of December!!!
